Confirming the school’s strong academic reputation, ACG Strathallan’s overall Cambridge pass rates for 2019 show an extremely high level of achievement.

A Level: 100%
AS Level: 91%
IGCSE: 91%

The AS Level pass rates were particularly pleasing, with an impressive increase of 4% on last year’s results. And at IGCSE Level, 37% of papers received an A* or A grade (80% or better) which looks sure to solidify the school’s academic reputation over the coming years.

In addition, ACG Strathallan received a total of four Cambridge Awards including:

1 Top in New Zealand
3 High Achievement (Top in New Zealand for a smaller subject)

Amelie Davidson placed Top in New Zealand in IGCSE Spanish, while three other students received High Achievement in their respective AS Level subjects: Lydia Ainsworth, Drama; Serena Jivan, Information Technology; Erin O’Mara, Sociology.

As the number of Cambridge International students continues to grow around the world, it is becoming ever more challenging to achieve top outcomes. In that context, these results are an outstanding accolade, not only upon the school and its teaching staff, but also on ACG Strathallan’s students and their families.

“We are extremely proud of the results our students achieved in their Cambridge examinations last year,” says Principal, Danny O’Connor. “Our 2019 results are some of the best we have ever achieved at the College and they reflect the hard work and dedication of our students and staff.”
