Our mission is to support students in achieving their academic and career goals. We provide a range of services to help students navigate their academic journey, plan their subject choices, and prepare for their future career. ACG Strathallan students are supported throughout their College education by our University and Careers Advisor, who understands the complexities of local universities, qualification requirements and individual students. Students are fully prepared for their transition to Tertiary study, whether that is in New Zealand or abroad.

Securing a Place at a World-Class University

Despite fierce competition at the world’s leading universities, one in three Inspired students is accepted at world-renowned Russell Group and Ivy League schools. As an Inspired School, ACG Strathallan students are supported throughout their College education by in-school University and Careers Counsellors, who uniquely understand the local universities, qualification requirements and individual students. As well as receiving individualised support from their Year 12 and 13 Dean, students are fully prepared for their transition to Tertiary study, whether that is in New Zealand or abroad.

With dedicated support, our pupils are given the best chance of obtaining a coveted spot at the world-class university of their choice.

Arete Educational Consulting

With hundreds of thousands of applications each year, acceptance into a top US or UK university is challenging.

With Arete Educational Consulting, students are allocated a dedicated counsellor to support them through the years prior to the application process. The service offers guidance on building a CV with advice on summer jobs, extracurricular participation, and anything else that will give students the best chance of standing out in such a competitive field.

In addition to university application counselling, Arete offers tuition in languages, maths, sciences, humanities, and study skills. Our expert tutors provide one-to-one coaching on school entrance and college admissions exams, including the SAT.

Arete coaches are committed to inspiring academic excellence and building student confidence. They identify and work with the pupils to remove any roadblocks that might prevent them from achieving their dream university placement.

The Classroom Door

Inspired has partnered with The Classroom Door (TCD) to support students working to secure a US or UK university placement.

TCD is a comprehensive educational platform and tutoring marketplace providing access to world-class tutors, certified teachers, and advisors, as well as proprietary college counselling content by founder Nikki Geula, a pioneer in the college consulting and tutoring industry. It offers one-on-one tutoring that includes Preschool enrichment, and standardised test prep, including SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, MCAT, ESL, and other language courses of all levels. TCD is more affordable than other counselling and tutoring programmes, as it operates on a social mission to provide elite tutoring and support with the college application process to all students globally. To this end, the subscription-based, self-guided college counselling lessons cover all aspects of the college admissions process, including how to deliver the perfect essay, build a college list, and insights and tips for Ivy League applications.

TCD offers over 1,500 first-class tutors and counsellors from global-leading universities, including Harvard, Yale, MIT, Stanford, Princeton, and Oxford. These tutors and counsellors provide expert counselling to support students through the application process and have an impressive track record of university placements. Since our goal is to help students achieve their full potential, we offer access to expert advisors, Ivy League-educated tutors, or certified teachers starting at just $15 per hour.
