Creative and Performing Arts

In addition to studying Art & Design, Design & Technology, Music, Dance & Drama as part of the curriculum, our campus theatre and specialist classrooms are well-equipped to cater for a diverse range of artistic activities.

At ACG Strathallan, students have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument from a wide range of options and apply their skills in one of the school's many musical groups. These include singing, symphonic band, jazz band, rock band, and chamber music ensembles.

The annual College drama production is a chance for students to showcase their talents in acting, singing, music or backstage support.

Leadership Day - Years 12 & 13

Students in Years 12 and 13 enjoy an annual Leadership Day in January, which also gives them the opportunity to confirm a course for the year. This is when tutor groups are organised, and students participate in effective team-building and ice-breaking exercises, learning how to support and encourage the younger members of their group.

To provide a focus on the future, former students visit ACG Strathallan on this day to share their experiences of tertiary life and the workforce. This is an invaluable experience for our students and inspires them for the year ahead.
